Fr. Lambert Greenan OP
Angelicum alumnus Fr. Lambert Greenan, O.P., possibly the 2nd. oldest Dominican in the world, as well as possibly the 5th or 6th oldest priest in the world, was born to eternal life this past November 29. Click here for his full biography and funeral arrangements.
In 1946, Fr. Greenan was sent to Rome to study Canon Law at the Angelicum. He received his Licentiate in Canon Law in 1948 and began doctoral studies, but was recalled to Ireland at the end of 1949 to teach Canon Law and various other subjects.
