Prof. Olivier-Marie Sarr, OSB, Professor “Incaricato” of Introduction to the liturgy in the Faculty of Theology, was elected abbot of his monastery in Senegal, the abbey is called: Keur Moussa (House of Moses in the local language).

Fr Olivier-Marie SARR is a Benedictine monk from the Keur Moussa abbey in Senegal. Until now he was deputy prior of the Pontifical Athenaeum and Collegio Sant’Anselmo (Rome), consultor of the Congregation of Divine Worship and of the Discipline of the Sacraments. He was professor of theology of liturgical inculturation, liturgical spirituality, methodology at the Pontifical Liturgical Institute of Sant’Anselmo (Rome). He is the author of several publications.
