Content

This course will examine two influential Medieval accounts of truth: the De veritate of St. Anselm and the Quæstiones disputatæ de veritate of St. Thomas Aquinas, along with parallel considerations in the Summa theologiæ. As we will be engaging the primary sources themselves, students will be encouraged to make use of the Latin original, although translations of the texts are available.
