Semester I
tuesday 16:30 - 18:15

The course will analyze the Italian philosophical language through the study of Benedetto Croce’s theoretical philosophy and philosophy of history. After introducing these two fields of Croce’s thought we will read several extracts from his main books on his topic by analyzing the key philosophical terms.
The students are supposed to attend the lessons regularly and to partecipate to them actively.
The teaching method will consist first of all of frontal lessons. These classes will be integrated, by the right measure and in the opportune time, by interactive lessons and, eventually, by the use of multimedia materials.
The final assessment will consist of an oral exam during which the student will be reading and analysing some of the fragments and words commented during the course
