In this seminar, students will be offered the opportunity to acquaint themselves with some of Plato’s texts. This presentation should contain an introduction to the dialogue identifying its main theme, an outline of the dialogue. The conclusion of this presentation should prepare the discussion of the second period. A 15 page paper, on an aspect of the dialogue presented by student, due on the last session of seminar, will contribute to 50 % of the grade for the seminar. An electronic document containing the texts of these dialogues will be sent to the students enrolled for this seminar.
