Following the symposiums “Listening to the East” on synodality according to Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches, and the symposium “Listening to the West” on synodality according to the Mainline Churches, the Institute for Ecumenical Studies of the Angelicum is organizing a series of presentations on synodality according to Free Churches.

This series consist in online events with representatives of Free Churches. The first will be on 15 March from 4-5 pm, Rome time, and will be devoted to the Disciples of Christ approach.

Reverend Dr Robert Welsh, former General Secretary of the Christian Unity Commission of the Disciples of Christ will be the main speaker, and Dr Julien Hammond will be the Catholic listener, under the moderation of Mons. Prof. Juan Usma Gómez.
