St. John De Matha Chair on Religious Freedom – New Project of the Trinitarians and Angelicum

The Angelicum is pleased to announce a new project in the Italian language: St. John de Matha Chair on Religious Freedom (ANNOUNCEMENT)The institutions supporting the Chair are: the Faculty of Theology & the Mater Ecclesiae Institute of Higher Religious Sciences of the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (PUST) and the Trinitarian International Solidarity (SIT), an organisation of the Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Captives (Trinitarian Order) based in their General Curia in Rome.

The inaugural lecture “Religious Freedom and Persecution in the 20th and 21st Century“, February 18, 2021, will be held by Prof. Andrea Riccardi, Professor of Contemporary History, known for being the Founder of the Community of St. Egidio and Minister of the Italian Republic, as well as author of numerous scientific essays.
