The course provides an exhaustive introduction to the general principles of psychology applied to the study of human personality. From the definition of personality, to the personality factors, we continue with a comparison with the main diagnostic tools inherent in the discipline. In placing an attentive focus on human emotions, behaviors and perceptions, these will also be analyzed in cases of psychological distress. The study of the self will be deepened by presenting the main theories concerning the ideal self and the real, present and future self and the integration between the self and the other.
