This course is a sapiential reflection on divine transcendence that is on divine simplicity and divine perfection.Using various interlocutors to engage with texts principally taken from the Summa contra gentiles,bk. I,chs. 13-28 and the prima pars of the Summa theologiae qq.3-4of St Thomas’ corpus,each class will analyse the weekly assigned reading texts tosystematically present St. Thomas’vision of a transcendental God
