Sr. Thomas Miriam White is a Religious Sister of Mercy of Alma, Michigan. Before entering her congregation, she earned a BA in Biology (2003) and a BM in Trumpet Performance with an Emphasis in Jazz Studies (2004) from Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and a PhD in Musicology (2011) from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She was received into full communion with the Catholic Church in 2012, and entered religious formation with the Religious Sisters of Mercy in 2017. She made her first vows in 2020, renewed her vows in 2023, and has been working as a Program Coordinator for the Angelicum Thomistic Institute since 2019. She is also studying philosophy part-time at the Angelicum.
