DOCTORAL Program in Theology
The Faculty of Theology at the Angelicum offers three successive Cycles of studies, each one terminating with the conferment of an academic degree: the Baccalaureate, the Licentiate and the Doctorate.
The Third Cycle (minimum two years) presupposes a Licentiate in Theology obtained from a Pontifical University or Faculty and is ordered to the attainment of the Doctorate in Theology. It enables the student to reach a certain theological maturity by means especially of the preparation of a doctoral dissertation which will contribute to the progress of theological science.
Fr. Mariusz Tabaczek, O.P. is one of the instructors and thesis directors at this level of academic formation. Prospective students who are interested in entering the doctoral program in Thomism or Dogmatic and Fundamental Theology, with special interest in various aspects of science/theology dialogue, are requested to visit the website of the Faculty of Theology, to obtain the necessary information.
