Course Description
This diploma seminar introduces students to the study of Spirituality by means of a close reading, presentation and discussion of classic texts from the Christian spiritual tradition from the Desert Fathers to the Medieval Mystics. It is run in conjunction with the lecture course sP1992, History of Spirituality, Part I: Early Monasticism to the High Middle Ages and is reserved to students in the diploma program of the Institute of Spirituality.
