This talk is part of the conference The Spiritual Soul and Contemporary Neuroscience: A Thomistic Perspective, which was held at the Angelicum on 1 December 2018.

Dr. Feser is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Pasadena City College, and has also been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Loyola Marymount University. He received a PhD in philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He is the author of multiple books, including Philosophy of Mind: A Beginner’s Guide (2005), The Last Superstition: A Refutation of the New Atheism (2008), Aquinas: A Beginner’s Guide (2019), Scholastic Metaphysics: A Contemporary Introduction (2014), Neo-Scholastic Essays (2015), and Five Proofs for the Existence of God (2017).
