Losing the Forest for the Tree: Why All Thomists Should (Not) Be River Forest Thomists

Father Philip-Neri Reese, O.P. has a new article published in the special issue of Religions. In this article, Father seeks to show why River Forest Thomism should be embraced by all Thomists. He argues that River Forest Thomism has been wrongly reduced to a single controversial (and false) thesis that does not adequately express the richness and value of this school of 20th century Thomism. When we understand what River Forest Thomism was really all about, we will see that all Thomists should be River Forest Thomists.
