The Thomistic Institute hosts regular seminar events for professors and graduate students aimed at a deeper engagement with the thought of Aquinas and the Catholic intellectual tradition more generally.

Thomistic Circles at the Angelicum

The Institute regularly sponsors events that investigate topics in philosophy and theology which take place at the Angelicum. These are free and open to the public. Check our website to find out the times for these events, and subscribe to our email list to receive notices in advance.

Graduate Seminar Workshops

These are day long seminars with senior theologians and philosophers, primarily for graduate students who are invited to apply. More Information Forthcoming!

Aquinas Seminar in Rome

JUNE 2019

This seminar will treat a major topic in Aquinas’ philosophy or theology. Led by a senior scholar it will take place over the course of a week, and will be open to graduate students who are fluent in English. Scholarships will be provided for travel, room and board. Students may apply by sending in a curriculum vitae, once the seminar details are posted in January 2019.
