Brief biography
I am an academic scholar and an ordained Catholic Priest who has worked in both church and university settings for the past fifteen years. I have extensive experience working as an assistant professor and a priest in parish settings throughout the world. I am the author and coauthor of several books and academic articles in Lebanon.
I have a PhD in history and a BA in theology. My coursework at Holy Spirit University of Kaslik in Lebanon and the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome included history and theology. I also conducted archival research at The Pontifical Archives of the Propaganda Fide in The Vatican.
I am currently teaching Church History at the Pontifical School of Theology at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) Lebanon. I was also the Academic Secretery of the Pontifical School of Theology at USEK between 2019-2022.
Since 2022 I have been the Procurator of the Lebanese Maronite Order (OLM) to the Holy See in Rome and Superior of the Monastery of Saint Charbel in Rome (Via Monza 21, 00182). I am proficient in English, fluent in French, Italian, and Arabic and I also read and write Latin and Syro-Aramaic.
I am from Byblos, Lebanon. I currently live in Rome, Italy.
