Course Description
The student will be introduced to the knowledge of the Chatolic Scriptures and their interpretation. To this end, the following subjects will be covered: textual history of the biblical texts (ancient manuscripts and versions); history and theology of the canon; history of the Christian theology of biblical inspiration; inerrancy; the basic principles of the Catholic interpretation of the Scripture.

The students will be given a basic bibliography during the course.
