Introduction to the Theology of Joseph Ratzinger / Benedict XVI

Professore

Course Description

In this course, a basic overview of the theology of Joseph Ratzinger is provided. Starting with his important contributions during the Second Vatican Council, special emphasis is given to the theological method, to the fundamental theology, the concept of Revelation, the nature and mission of theology, and finally ecclesiology. In this way, reasonable arguments are offered, which also relate to ongoing debates, and challenges and – above all – the credibility of the faith and the Church.
