Course Description
This course is designed for men in a program of formation in preparation for Holy Orders. It provides a practical overview of the role of the pastor (parochus) in the parish setting. Topics addressed may include, depending on class size and time, a theological understanding of pastoral ministry, the spiritual life of the parish, the pastor’s legal and financial duties, collaboration with the lay faithful, and leadership issues.
