Course Description
Alphonsus Liguori is known as the “Doctor Moralis” (doctor of morals), for he holds a special place for Catholic moral theology. This course provides a close reading of large selections from his Theologiae Moralis in the context of his life and extensive writings on history, ascetical/spiritual theology, and his instructions for confessors.
