The Psalms and Wisdom Books of the O.T.

Course Description

The aim of this course is to become acquainted with the Psalms and Wisdom books. The course will be divided into three parts. The first part shall introduce the concept of wisdom. We will then turn to the Psalms. Here, after introductory elements, we will study some psalms: lamentations, messianic, wisdom. Lastly, we will turn to wisdom books: Proverbs, Qoheleth, Job, Daniel and Susana, Tobit, Song of Songs, Sirach, and the Book of Wisdom.
