Course Description

The Pauline epistles and their theological perspectives form a vital part of the New Testament. This course introduces each letter of the Corpus Paulinum in its historical context and with a view to its distinct theological contribution. In addition to an overview of Paul’s life and world, it offers an outline of his main theological themes, in critical dialogue with selected ancient and modern interpreters.
