Fr. Peter John Cameron, O.P., was ordained for the Dominican Province of St. Joseph in 1986. Since 1994, he has taught homiletics in five seminaries. He is also the founder and artistic director of Blackfriars Repertory Theatre in New York City. Fr. Cameron is the founding editor-in-chief of Magnificat where he worked 1998-2018.
He is the author of ten books. He served two terms as the Director of Preaching for his Dominican province. Before his assignment to Rome, Fr. Cameron was the prior of St. Patrick Priory in Columbus, Ohio. Fr. Cameron is currently the Carl J. Peter Chair of Homiletics at the Pontifical North American College. He is also the editorial director of Aleteia.org–English edition.
