Angelicum Alumni will be cardinals in the upcoming consistory

Angelicum Alumni Archbishop Robert Prevost (1987) of the United States, who serves as the prefect of the dicastery for bishops, and Bishop Sebastian Francis (1983) of Malaysia, who holds the positions of Bishop of Penang and President of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei, have been named cardinals in the upcoming consistory scheduled for September 30, 2023.
