Content

This course will examine classic presentations of the problem of future contingents, with a particular focus on God’s knowledge of the future, by authors in the Antique world (Aristotle and Boethius), and the Medieval Latin West (Thomas Aquinas and William of Ockham). We will also consider contemporary evaluations of these classic approaches.
