Dear all,

Wednesday, September 18, 2019, Prof. GERARDA SCHIAVONE MdS returned to the Father’s house. Those who knew her know full well how important Prof. Schiavone was for the Mater Ecclesiae: beside a teacher and vice-president of the Institute, Gerarda was like a mother who with intelligence, love, dedication and care accompanied her colleagues and students so that their commitment in the Institute would be an occasion for meeting God, building knowledge, exercising fraternity, openness to people’s needs, and joyful service.

We want to thank the Lord for the person of Gerarda and accompany her with our prayers; and we also want to pray for her religious family, for the service provided to the Mater Ecclesiae Institute and to the whole of the Angelicum. For this reason we will gather on Thursday, October 10, at 4 pm, in the University Church (Saints Domenico and Sisto), for a Eucharistic celebration. You are all cordially invited to participate.
