Content

This course is a general introduction to and an exploration of the Synoptic Gospels and the Book of Acts. Special attention will be dedicated to the development of the Gospel tradition, from Jesus to the writings. Students are expected being able to critically discuss the key concepts of the major synoptic teories and of the current research on Acts and to apply these principles and concepts on a specific passages from the gospel birth narratives, stories of Jesus’ public ministry, the passion narratives, stories of the resurrection, ecc.
