FIRST AND SECOND YEAR BACCALAUREATE PROGRAM

This course builds on Psychology 1 and provides a more synthetic account of the philosophy and practices of psychology from a Thomistic perspective. The following issues will be of chief concern. The nature of the psyche and the unconscious. Attachment theory. Personality theories. Psychosocial development. Biological foundations of emotions. Psychoanalysis and psychiatry in practice
