Alumnus and soon-to-be Angelicum professor receives the Lubac Prize for dissertation on St. Catherine of Siena
The jury of the prestigious Lubac Prize -which recognizes the best doctoral work in the French language from one of the Pontifical Universities in Rome- chaired by Cardinal Paul Poupard, president emeritus of the Pontifical Council for Culture, met on February 26, 2018 at the French Embassy to the Holy See and unanimously chose the work of Angelicum alumnus and soon-to-be professor in the Faculty of Theology (beginning October 2018), Sr. Marie des Anges CAYEUX O.P., for the prestigious award. Sr. Marie des Anges wrote her award-winning dissertation on The centrality of the desire for God in the doctrine of St. Catherine of Siena. A Catherinian dynamic of perfection.
For this thesis, defended at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, the French Dominican, who also works at the first section of the Secretariat of State, will receive a sum of € 3,000 EUR.
