Angelicum Prayer Campaign to Our Lady of the Rosary for an end of the pandemic and in Reparation

The Angelicum office of Public Relations together with Angelicum Chaplains are launching a plan of prayer and reparation to God for the sins of the world through the powerful intercession of Our Lady of the Rosary to deliver Rome and the world from the pandemic and to pray for the sick.

Holy cards ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED through the Portineria inviting everyone to privately and daily pray the Memorare, an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be.

The campaign is being launched during the 800th anniversary of the death of St. Dominic, founder of the Order of Preachers, and will continue until the pandemic threat has subsided (possibly Fall semester 2021).  After the conclusion of the pandemic, on a date to be determined, the Angelicum community will celebrate God’s Mercy and the powerful prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a walking pilgrimage from the Angelicum’s church of Ss. Dominic & Sixtus (Angelicum) through the Monti neighborhood and ending at Santa Maria sopra Minerva.

At the conclusion of the pilgrimage, together with the Dominican family of Rome, we will venerate the Blessed Mother in her basilica by celebrating holy Mass and adore our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and finish with a visit to the tomb of St. Catherine of Siena, Doctor of the Church.

All are invited to daily join in these prayers.  Our Blessed Mother most certainly will help us during these difficult times.  “In everything God works for good for those who love Him.” (Rom. 8:28)

The holy card with prayers (English / Italian) will soon be distributed to the Angelicum community via the portineria in the month of February.
