Cardinal Basil Hume: A Pilgrim’s Search for God

Angelicum alumnus Sr. Gertrude Feick reports that her doctoral thesis (under the moderation of Fr Paul Murray, O.P.), now a book, has recently been published by Gracewing Ltd in the UK. The title of the book is Cardinal Basil Hume: A Pilgrim’s Search for God.

The book is endorsed by Cardinal Vincent Nichols, who gave the Foreword, and also with resounding blurbs by Abbot Jeremy Driscoll, OSB, Mgr Roderick Strange, and Archbishop Arthur Roche.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Basil Hume’s death so the work is timely. It is available through Gracewing.

Sr. Gertrude Feick, a Benedictine Sister of Mt. Angel, Oregon, has now entered the Cistercian Monastery of Our Lady of the Redwoods Abbey, Whitethorn, California (USA).  Sr. Gertrude holds a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas.
