Purpose of the course is to familiarize first year students with the meanings of some of the  most frequent English words used as technical terms within philosophical language, by going back to the uses in ordinary Greek language of the words from which they derive. Each selected Greek word will be further studied according to the following perspectives:

  1. Its word family organized around the same root which communicate the basic meaning.
  2. Its part of speech
