Christian-Buddhist Interreligious Relations: A Catholic Theological Approach Seminar

Saturday, 4 March 2023 at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas

The aim of this seminar is to address the topic of Christian-Buddhist interreligious relations, from a Catholic perspective. The one-day seminar will be a “closed-door” event for graduate students (license and doctorate level), primarily from Rome.  Approximately 10-25 students will be selected from those who apply.  APPLICATION (PDF)

Presentations will be offered by Prof. Thomas Cattoi (Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley), Prof. Gavin D’Costa (University of Bristol), and Fr. Martin Ganeri, OP (Oxford University).  Time for discussion will follow each presentation.

Participants will be expected to read an article written by each of the presenters in advance of the seminar.
