The ‘Verum’ as a Crossroads of Knowledge-Joint Diploma 2022-23
The Joint Diploma ‘The Thought of St. Thomas Aquinas Doctor Humanitatis‘ aims to make known, appreciate and deepen the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas in its philosophical and theological aspects, showing its depth and relevance. In particular, it aims to examine the harmony between faith and reason, which is the basis of dialogue with the world.
The Roman Pontifical Universities and Athenaeums participate jointly.
The Joint Diploma is addressed to students of the Roman Pontifical Faculties and other Universities, students of Institutes of Religious Sciences, Seminarians, teachers of schools of all levels, and in general anyone wishing to deepen their knowledge of the thought of St. Thomas.
Each year nine modules are presented, each of which is entrusted to a Pontifical University or Athenaeum taking into account the specificity of the Institution.
Lessons will be in Italian on Tuesday afternoons.
On 11 October the Joint Diploma will be inaugurated with the Lectio Magistralis “Il Verum come crocevia dei saperi “by Prof. Luis Romera
(University of the Holy Cross) Angelicum, Aula Minor.
