Introduzione

This course examines the nature of philosophy and its classification. After a brief historical overview, it examines the relation of experimental sciences, common sense and philosophy’s ancillary role to theology. Secondly, it distinguishes the chief divisions of philosophy and its hierarchical structure. It studies the role of logic, and the division of the speculative sciences.
