DP 3478 Groupings of Particular Churches m.p. ‘Apostolos Suos’: Cann. 431-459
This course will present the ecclesiastical institutions that group the Particular Churches: firstly, the Ecclesiastical Province and the Metropolitan. The Plenary and Provincial Councils will be studied next. Finally, the study will focus on the Conference of Bishops as a collaborative and governing body.

DP 3227 The Particular Churches: Part Two: 460-572
The subject of the course concerns the hierarchical constitution of the church at the level of the particular Churches (cann. 460-572). The subject of our study will be the organisation or structure of the church, the norms that govern and regulate the organisation of its public bodies and the personnel attached to them. Thus, the diocesan synod, the diocesan curia, the offices of the general and episcopal vicars, the chancellor and the archives will be studied at diocesan level. With regard to the administration of the diocese, the figures of the bursar and the council for economic affairs will be explored. It will conclude with the Presbyteral Council and College of Consultors, the Chapter of Canons and the Pastoral Council. At the parish level, the nature and composition of the parish, the figure of the parish priest and parish vicars will be studied. The subject will be concluded with vicars foranei, church rectors and chaplains.
