#LIVESTREAM Inauguration of St. John Paul II Institute of Culture

Before the official inauguration of the St. John Paul II Institute of Culture to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of John Paul II, the Angelicum’s Rector, Fr. Michał Paluch OP, will concelebrate at 7 am (CET) Mass over the tomb of Pope St. John Paul II together with His Holiness, Pope Francis.

  • Opening ceremony – opening address by Fr. Michał Paluch OP, Rector Magnificus, Angelicum;
  • The Letter from Pope Francis, read by Bishop Jan Romeo Pawłowski, Secretariat of the Holy See;
  • Address by Cardinal Stanisław Ryłko, a collaborator of the three popes: John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis;
  • Address by Fr. Pablo Carlos Sicouly OP, a Socius for the Intellectual Life of the Order of Friars Preachers;
  • Address by Fr. Serge Thomas Bonino OP – Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas – Angelicum;
  • Address by Fr. Ryszard Rybka OP – Director of the St. John Paul II Institute of Culture in the Faculty of Philosophy at the Angelicum:
  • Address by Fr. Paweł Kozacki OP – Prior Provincial of the Polish Province of the Dominican Order;
  • Official signing of the agreement;
  • Address by Dariusz Karłowicz from the Saint Nicholas Foundation (one of the founders of the Institute);
  • Addresses by Mirosław & Jolanta Gruszka, Krzysztof Domarecki, Wojciech Piasecki – representatives of the Board of Founders;
