Sr. Maria Silva, O.P. – New Director of Administration for the Angelicum Family
Sister Maria is a Dominican Sister of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Sister was born and raised in the Bronx, New York and prior to entering the convent was the Chief Financial Officer of three car dealerships in New York. She entered the order in 2007 and made final vows in 2015. She arrived in Rome 2 years ago and began working for the North American College as their librarian. This year she was appointed as the Director of Administration for the Angelicum. When asked how this came about she responded, “It just shows how the Lord can use our past to sanctify the future.” Sr. Maria is thrilled to be a part of the Angelicum family and to use her experience from the world to build up the body of Christ.
