STRONG Programme Annual Conference
The Social Sciences Faculty (FASS) together with Adjuvantes onlus is proud to announce the STRONG Programme Annual Conference, that will take place at the Angelicum on October 26. The STRONG programme is focused on the empowerment of foreign citizens residing in Italy and of Italians with migrant backgrounds, both young and adult, so that they can become agents of social change, as well as improve the social inclusion of migrants in their local environment.
In the morning they will be presented the results of the 2019 annual research: “SECMER: Socio-Economic Contributions of Migrants’ Enterprises in Rome”; carried out by twenty FASS students under the supervision of éCO, the research collects contributions from about 200 entrepreneurs from Albania, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Ecuador and Perù.
A Round Table will follow with representatives of institutions and trade associations on the theme: “Can immigrant entrepreneurship be an instrument of socio-economic inclusion? How to promote it?”.
Soon after it will take place the graduation ceremony of the 2018-2019 edition of the “Management of Third Sector Organizations and Social Enterprises” professional course, managed by Adjuvantes ONLUS.
In the afternoon, the STRONG programme partners will offer a series of interactive workshops to students.
