The Angelicum Announces New Grant from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation

The Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas is proud to announce that a generous grant has been awarded to the University from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. The University will use this grant to create scholarships for religious sisters through the St. Catherine of Siena Scholarship Program

The scholarships aim to bring at least 18 religious sisters to study at the Angelicum for one year, focusing on those who would otherwise not have this opportunity, and seeking to foster their intellectual development, moral autonomy and spiritual growth.

Upon completion of a one-year study program, scholars will receive a diploma from the Angelicum’s Faculty of Theology or the Mater Ecclesiae Higher Institute of Religious Sciences.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Hilton Foundation for their generosity towards the Angelicum, partnering with us in our common mission of developing the Church throughout the world,” the Rector of the Angelicum, Fr. Thomas Joseph White, O.P. said.

Scholarship recipients for the 2022-2023 academic year will be announced soon.
