Tillard Chair on Synodality: Lecture of Bishop Giacomo Morandi, Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith

 

On Friday 28 May 2021, Bishop Giacomo Morandi, Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, will deliver the fourth lecture in the cycle of public lectures of the 2021 Tillard Chair dedicated to the theme of synodality.

 

 

The lecture entitled “Synodality and Christian Unity in a Catholic Perspective” will take place in the Aula Minor of the Angelicum from 17.30–19.00, and will also be transmitted in direct streaming accessible on the Angelicum YouTube channel here.

The cycle of lectures of the 2021 Tillard Chair on the theme “Walking Together. Synodality and Christian Unity” is jointly organized by the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the Institute of Ecumenical Studies of the Angelicum.

The “Tillard Chair” dedicated to ecumenism was inaugurated in 2003 by Cardinal Walter Kasper at the Angelicum in honour of the renowned theologian and ecumenist, Jean-Marie Tillard, OP (1927-2000).
