“One Year In” UPDATE from Fr. Benedict

“One Year In” UPDATE from Fr. Benedict

Dear Friends and Alumni of the Angelicum,

Happy New Year! (and a very Merry Christmas)

Since re-starting the office of development and mission advancement in the Fall of 2018 at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas there have been a number of challenges given our humble beginnings and a very small budget.  I decided to try something new: with the help of our beloved Dominican Sisters, we sent out my first (and only) personal correspondence to everyone who donated in the past year via Vatican Post.

Did you receive it? If not you now have it here!

It is a summary of what was accomplished in our first year. Given the great needs of the Angelicum and recognizing that we must become faithful friends with many, many people, I hope you will reach out to us and make a tax-deductible donation so we might continue to accomplish more great things for 2020 (this also ensures you will be included in the next mailing).

As you will see from the letter, the Lord has blessed our efforts in superabundance thanks in large part to our generous Angelicum students (volunteer journalists & photographers), our Dominican Sisters and a team of interns under the direction of Mrs. Carmen Luisa-Coya.  With their assistance, we have managed to begin a new magazine, THE ANGELICUM to substantially increase communication in cooperation with the International Dominican Foundation in Louisiana (USA).

To be in regular communication with me, whether you are a Friend or Alumnus/Alumna of the university, I would invite you to add your info HEREAs always, we count on your generosity and especially your prayers as we teach the world the Truth of Jesus Christ – all from the Eternal City!

in Christ our newborn King,

Fr. Benedict Croell OP
