The THEOLOGY, ART & BEAUTY student seminar is a place of reflection on the meaning of art in the Christian tradition and exchanging ideas and impressions that arise around the “Let’s Paint Catholicism Again” project. Each year renowned artists invited by the St. John Paul II Institute of Culture at the Angelicum and the St. Nicholas Foundation tackle one mystery of the Rosary, painting modern images of classical Catholic themes. We wish to take this opportunity and talk about the role of art and beauty in the Catholic spiritual journey and ponder upon the theological issues that surround this years’ Rosary mystery.
