Sr. Helen Alford, OP is the Angelicum’s new Dean of Social Sciences
The Angelicum is pleased to announce the election of Sr. Helen Alford OP as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences which has been confirmed by the Grand Chancellor, fr. Gerard Timoner, O.P.
Sr. Helen is a consultor to the Dicastery for the Promotion of Integral Human Development in the Vatican as well as an ordinary member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences. Until recently she has served as the Angelicum’s Vice Rector and assists with many projects, including the new joint initiative with the Gregorian University, “Safeguarding: Mission and Commitment of the Church.”
