ANNOUNCING: St. John De Matha Chair on Religious Freedom – New Project of the Trinitarians and Angelicum

The Angelicum is pleased to announce a new project in the Italian language: St. John de Matha Chair on Religious Freedom. The institutions supporting the Chair are: the Faculty of Theology & the Mater Ecclesiae Institute of Higher Religious Sciences of the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (PUST) and the Trinitarian International Solidarity (SIT), an organisation of the Order of the Most Holy Trinity and of the Captives (Trinitarian Order) based in their General Curia in Rome.

The first course (ITALIAN) February – May 2021, with online and in-person instruction focuses on: RELIGIOUS FREEDOM, ISSUES CHALLENGES & PERSPECTIVES. Classes will be taught on Thursdays, 14:30 – 16:15.  (EVENT)

The inaugural lecture (ITALIAN), February 18, 2021, will be given by Prof. Andrea Riccardi.

 

Lecture Themes: Religious Liberty in the Old and New Testaments, Religious Freedom in the History of the Church, Magisterial and Political Aspects, Religious Freedom in the Trinitarian Order, Testimonies and Experiences.
